"Tyag & Tapasya (त्याग और तपस्या)" - First understand this, if you are dreaming about achieving the impossible - because impossible things do happen.
Time passes, dreams die, and what remains? An old withered body forlorn (pitifully sad and abandoned or lonely) for what could have been. You must act fact, act smart.......
Our whole life depends on “how big is our dream?”. The intensity of our inner strength (मनोबल) comes from the size of our dream. We see most successful people around us in whatever field, they all are full of energy and this energy comes from size of their dreams NOT from listening to a motivational speaker or speeches. So, if you are addicted to YouTube videos of motivational speakers or influencers on Twitters, Instagram or Facebook then you are on the wrong path. If you are enjoying short videos or busy scrolling whole days in social media to see unwanted stuffs then you are under the influence of big distraction which will not waste your whole day but also dilute your focus & energy.
Now a days, social media has created a new set of beggars who are busy begging for “like, subscribe and share”. In olden days people use to follow great personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, BR Ambedkar, APJ Abdul Kalam etc. but unfortunately our new generation is busy following beggars of social media termed as “influencers”. This is a clear path towards self destruction. If you notice, eye catching videos or masala mix videos in YouTube attracts more views as compare to intellect driven thoughtful videos. There are many “influencers” in the age group of 20-30 years with hardly any experience in the stock market are found giving stock tips (with disclaimer that it’s for education purposes) and lots of people do follow them just because they have thousands or millions of followers, listening to such immature guys whose main job is to attract eyeballs by making videos on hottest topic will only lead to disaster for a serious investor.
Your pursuit of wealth stalls when your focus is the road (stock market) and its destination (dreaming about the returns you can generate from stock market), and not the road trip (understanding the inherent change in the company, key triggers, unclear/invisible numbers, buying right and sitting tight). Wealth is a process, not an event. Wealth eludes most people because they are preoccupied with events while disregarding process. Without process, there is no event. Take a moment and re-read that. Process makes millionaires, and the events you see and hear are the results of that process.
All events of wealth are preceded by process, a backstory of trial, risk, hard work, and sacrifice. If you try to skip process, you will never experience events. Process demands sacrifices that few make, to resolve to live like few can.
